2D PSD data visualization
Three-dimensional data is presented in the form of three density maps, each showing a spectrum summed by Tof, X or Y axis. On each tab there is a density map in the center and two one-dimensional graphs of the spectrum summed by both of the axes.
The number of neutrons in the area enclosed by the cursors is counted.
Additional features:
- Zooming and panning
- Switch from linear scale to a logarithmic one
- Display density with markers instead of color
- Change units of measurement (requires filling the Parameters tab)
- Expand a graph of choosing to the entire work area
Polarization
Another option is polarization graph visualization, calculated from data of two 2D PSD spectra. The graph will be shown in the Polarization, the top right subfigure.
The calculation and rendering the polarization graph is performed via a context menu of the spectrum in the Working Directory. The complementary spectrum is selected automatically based on the flipper state as denoted in the file name.
