The widget provides (see figure below): * editing the script manually or with the help of a program generator, as far as available for particular instrument (some people prefere to use generators, others create scripts manually) * syntax check of the script for errors * running the script Syntax check of the script is strongly recommended before execution. The testing comprises correctness of the formal syntax as well as the correctness of command parameters.
